1. Ford Model T. Roughly 10k/20k
2. Dodge Viper. Roughly 25k-40k
3. Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. Roughly 10k-40k
All three are awesome choices. I would love to see him drive a Rolls, a Model T would be entertaining as well. I am excited to see which car gets picked. And I would love to own a Silver Shadow. How horrible is the maintenance again?

I would like to see him attempt to daily a Rolls. Or get a special dispensation and use it as a fancy-ass Uber.

Can you imagine ordering up an Uber and a Rolls pulling up?

If your buying a Model T in $20K range you are being swindled. Even for a really nice restored one and a majority of the T-buckets out there.

the rolls would be very boring. the viper would be fun and the car I would pick. the model T would be most interesting but I wouldn’t
wish that death trap on anyone. I can think of dozens of cars better for him to pick such as classic muscle car, rat rod, kei car etc. but the comment system is fucked and he will never see them

The Rolls is a fairly versatile platform.
From drag racing:
To delivery duties:
To a quick little jaunty through the woods:
There’s nothing this sedan can’t do.

My vote is for the Model T ... because I’m a bit sadistic and I don’t have to drive it!

This is a lame car, believe me man, get yourself a batmobile... it will be the best thing ever. Just think about parking it... anywhere.

The Model T would be an awesome choice.
1) Incredibly slow which is great for trolling Philly/NJ traffic
2) Would make for a hilarious UBER
3) Track days for days
4) Winter is here and in all the old pictures these things can crawl through anything. Let’s see it.
5) Mr. Regular review
A T Bucket might be even better. One of those crazy ass ones with loud side pipes and staggered Cragars.

My biggest issue about the Model T is that it’s just a novelty prank. I know Doug columns aren’t technically consumer advice but I like to live vicariously and in no way would I care about a Model T.

I would rather see a purer Model T. Just because I am a history buff

The T for everyone is a collector car. That is a good point. No one DDs a T

Plus it would be funny watching Doug try and drive it since there is no gas pedal

Judging by your price estimates, and doug’s budget of $60K, he could afford to buy one of each...
(That is, of course, excluding all other costs, like maintainance, insurance etc.)
